My second favourite Zelda game also has my second favourite boss fight. Ganondorf is a massive battle from start to end. After possessing Zelda and having a battle with him that's even more intense than the one in Ocarina of Time, he leaves her body and transforms into a huge beast. Different from the one from OOT, but definitely similat. You have to fight him in a very suspenseful battle, not knowing where he will appear, and after he wises up to your attacks, you have to fight him beast to beast. And you probably thought that you beat him...NOPE: CHUCK TESTA!
After he and Midna fight, Ganondorf comes out on top and you must fight him on horseback. This is an epic duel and to make things harder he summons his own minions on their horses. You have to stay close enough for Zelda to hit him with the bow of light. This is another reason why the fight is so hard: Zelda cannot aim to save her life. If she does finally manage to hit him, you have to fight him one on one, sword on sword. The battle that raged 100 years ago in the child timeline in Ocarina of Time happens once more. Although you can beat Ganondorf with a fishing rod, it's better not to because this fight is so much fun. That's why it's number 2.
