Ghirahim

The main enemy so far as we know in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword is the Demon Lord Ghirahim. As you can see, he is not Ganondorf, in fact, he couldn't be further from the King of Evil. Look at him, Ganon was a large, masculine, slow and heavy dude, whereas Ghirahim is quite slender and creepy. Truth be told, I think the Demon Lord is much more charismatic the the King of Evil. He just might be more powerful as well. He can stop Link's sword with two fingers, and during the demo fight, he just doesn't take him seriously. I think he's cool, and I wouldn't mind to see him in the next Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros Brawl Boss Dissection: Ridley

Ridley is one of the many bosses you will encounter in Subspace, but he is far from being the hardest. He is content with relying on purely physical attacks, many of which are avoidable and many of which don't do much damage. When fighting Ridley, try to use characters that focus on high jumps and ariel attacks as Ridley will spend most of his time just floating about the place.

Ridley has a few attacks at his disposal. One being a fast hitting, low damage maneuver where he scrapes the ground with his tail all the way across the stage. It's easy to jump over, but if you get caught in it, it is hard to escape from. Another move is his wing flap...yeah. He flaps his wings, creating a gust which forces people back. It only hurts you if you touch his wings, so attack from underneath him. Ridley can also fly off the stage and return attack in three different ways.
1.) From the background to the foreground.
2.) From the top of the stage to the bottom
3.) Swiping across horizontally.
Other than that, Ridley doesn't have many other attacks. If you are reading this having never fought Ridley, then you don't have much to fret about. Relax and enjoy pwning him.

Legend of spirit Tracks: a Game review By the Doctor

Greetings Nintendians! Instead of putting up a random video or a brawl character dissection, I thought that I would do a game review of one of my personal favourite games, The legend of Zelda: Spirit tracks. This game has both good and bad things about it, but I will start with the bad so as to finish the review on a good note.

One Negative is the graphics. Now I know that the Nintendo Ds cannot support Hd graphics ir high quality non-HD graphics, so don't complain. What really let me down were the trees. The trees are 2d. not 3d, 2d. If you rotate the camera while traveling, you ans see that the face of the tree rotates with you. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that when travelling, the graphics aren't great. In fact, if you constantly spam the cannon, the game will start to lag. pleast take note that this happens when playing through the story.

Now enough with the negatives, lets talk about the good things. This game kept the winning formula from Qind waker and Phantom Hourglass. A Compelling story, excellent gameplay, tough challenges that were fun to get through, and, most importantly, Kick-ass music.

The music is so epic that Myself, Terfle and 4ever have included this game in our top 5 game soundtracks.

Besides, graphics are a minor part of a game. If it has good graphics, all the better. But if a game has good graphics but is not fun to play, (CODfish) then it will be nothing compared to games with rather poor graphics and epic music, gameplay and storylines.

To put it simply, Play this game. If you have played Phantom hourglass or windwaker, play this game, if you have a ds, get this game. If you don't have a DS, get one and get this game.

Super Smash Bros Brawl Character Dissection: Ganondorf

In my opinion, the worst character in the game makes his return to Brawl from Melee in his typical copycat fashion. Most of his moves mimic that of Captain Falcon's, but all are much more powerful. If you want to use Ganondorf, no matter what mental disorder you may have, then you should try him against slow characters, he may stand a chance. To play as the King of Evil, you must master the few quick movements he has, meaning you must become familiar with his dodges and his down "B" One thing to remember about Ganondorf is that pretty much any attack from him will do massive damage. He has a supremely powerful meteor smash in the form of a downward ariel attack, but chances are you will never land it. When Ganondorf truly shines is in the Home Run Contest. In fact, that's pretty much the only time I use him. In Brawls, he just has too little range and speed to be useful.

Ganondorf's moves are copies of Captain Falcon's. "B" is his Warlock Punch. Think Falcon Pawnch, but slower and more powerful, but it will rarely ever land and without the glorious sound of "FALCOWN PAWWNCH" it's nowhere near as satisfying. Side "B" is one of his best moves, but it is far too easy to dodge for my liking. It's similar to Captain Falcon's raptor boost, but instead of an uppercut, he will grab the enemy's face and unleash a blast of darkness, which will make them fall to the ground. This should set you up for the downward smash attack. In the air, the Ganondorf will catch his foe and drive him into the ground, causing a lotta pain. This is particularly useful as a suicide attack. Up "B" is the only move he copies from the Captain that isn't nerfed at all. In fact, it's better. Ganondorf will do the same jump at the same speed (roughly) but if he grabs them, he will electrocute them and then bounce off them. Warlock Kick is symmetrical to the Falcon Kick, minus the speed and the range.

The coolest thing about this character by far, is: this.

YOU DARE BRING LIGHT INTO MY LAIR?
YOU MUST DIE!

Super Smash Bros Brawl Character Dissection: Toon Link

My personal favourite character in SSBB, Toon Link brings the moveset of the Twilight Princess Link and adds a heap of speed, overcompensating for the loss of the strength the original Link. When using Toon Link, use his quickness to avoid damage and opt for ariel attacks over grounded fights. Use the many weapons available to raise the damage from afar and then finish them with some of Toon Link's powerful smash attacks. One of the best moves the hero of time has in his moveset is the downward ariel attack. It does a tonne of damage and allows you to bounce off them if landed for a second hit. Become a master at this and you will be virtually unstoppable. But watch out for overuse of this move. Smart foes will begin to see a pattern if you keep jumping above their heads and sudden;y plunge sword first onto their skulls with a master sword. Toon Link is a great character for bosses, especially Master Hand and Crazy Hand.

Toon Link's arrows travel slower, but father than his realistic counterpart's, so keep that in mind. The more you hold the arrow down for, the faster and farther it will go. This is his standard "B" attack. Side "B" sees him chucking a boomerang forward. It is more powerful than Link's and can be controlled easier. The reason it is more powerful is due to the fact that it is much bigger, allowing for a much stronger chance of hitting the enemy. His up "B" makes him spin around with magical energy, trapping anyone close enough to be in the flurry of spins. You can hold it down for a little while, making the timing helpful. In the air, it's his recovery move and an even more powerful offensive attack. Instead of trapping the opponent in the vortex, it will hit four or five times and on the final hit will always be the most powerful spin, so time the attack just right and you'll end up sending the foe soaring. The down "B" is the bombs. Toon Link will pull out a bomb and throw is when you are ready. This is one of his best moves. Use the bombs creatively and often, they have a larger range than Link's so don't be afraid to make a throw. The only drawback is the lack of power in them, but it's a small price to pay.

His final smash is identical to Link's. It's far too awesome to just tell you about it, I must show you. Sorry for the small wait.

SHHRREEAAAHHH!

Link

Link has had many many games and has shined in almost all of them. Except one. Here is his evolution.

Tabuu, the cheapest boss ever

Now do't get me wrong, the Tabuu fight in brawl is one of the greatest moments in any game ever. In fact, him being a cheap boss is what makes the fight more worthwhile.

Anyway, Tabuu is cheap because of his most lethal and hardest to dodge attacks. The Wings. these wings create giant shockwaves that will knock you off the stage. Regardless of damage taken or the difficulty you play on. The only way to avoid instant death is to "do a barrel roll!" basically dodge roll every time a shockwave gets near you and you will dodge it. But if you have poor timing(like me) you will loose the character your playing as and will need to go to the next one(if your playing the subspace emissary). This can be a good thing as most boss fights can be ended with one or two characters. Tabuu forces you to use all your characters, with their strenghts and weaknesses.

How to train for this boss is rather difficult.

Step 1: find a freind who is good at using Lucas/Ness

step 2: brawl with smash balls on at the final destination stage.

step 3 let your buddy get the smash ball and use PK starstorm.

Step 4: practice dodge rolling(guard and move at the same time. This can be done in the air.
