proposition- Zelda Month

this August, i propose we hold a zelda month as a way of getting ready for skyward sword. As the game is coming out in september, this would be a great way to usher in the new era of zelda games. (the first new zelda game of the decade, correct me if I am mistaken).

Soundtracks: the best of DS

The Doctor and 4ever tell me to make more posts (that aren't intended to be deleted) so i decided to make this, a list of ds games which i think have great sound tracks. They are in no particular order.

The first is one that i am surprised has not come on to any soundtrack list yet, Animal Crossing: Wild World

In Legend o' Zelda: Spirit tracks, the Soundtrack was one of my favorite things throughout the game. That and the ability to control two characters at once. I was going to do only two tracks from each game, but i just couldn't decide when it came to this one.

Staying true to Kingdom Hearts tradition, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days has an amazing soundtrack.

The next game, another i am surprised has not made it to any soundtrack lists yet, Drawn to life: the next chapter. The second song will make waaaaaaaay more sense if you have played the game.

I always liked the Super scribblenauts soundtrack because it was so simple yet it fitted the game so well. The video says that the song is from scribblenauts but it is also in super scribblenauts, i had some trouble finding music for this one.

The professor Layton series, otherwise i would probably end up doing one for each. As 4ever and the doctor would know the professor Layton games are some of my favorite games of all time, rivaled only by things like super scribblenauts and KH2.

This a long post which i put effort into, this means that you can't delete it 4ever.

weekly music remix

alright, since I missed one last week (sorry about that by the way) here is a completly epic music remix of a tuner from pokemon ruby, saphire and emerald

Assassin's Creed for Wii U

I am not a big fan of Assassin's Creed as you may know, but there is an Assassin's Creed coming out for Wii U next year. So, I am considering thinking about getting it. I've played the original Assassin's Creed, which had a cool character, but was pretty awful. I also got my hands on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, whose character wasn't cool, but the gameplay felt much better. Still, they both feel like watered down versions of Batman: AA.

Back on the topic of Nintendo, the dev behind Assassin's Creed saw the WIii U at E3 and said he though the multiplayer would be great with multiple screens. Personally, I hate the Multiplayer, but I can see his point.
I don't know anything about the new Assassin's Creed for Wii U, other than that there will be one. I think they might release a compilation set with all the games. It's a possibility. This is not the first time an Assassin's Creed game will be released on a Nintendo Console. There was one the original DS and there will be one for the 3DS. Still, Assassin's Creed has me frowning when I think about it, not smiling.

The top Five essential Wii games

These may not be the best, but these are some games which Wii owners should definitely have. (No particular order)

The legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
Possibly the best Zelda game ever created:

New Super Mario Bros Wii
Some of the best fun in 2D platforming

Super Mario Galaxy (1 or 2)
Probably the best platformer ever!

Super Smash Bros Brawl
Need I say more?

Mario Kart Wii
Gee, I wish I had it...

There you go!

SSBB Cpu or Human?

I've played a lot of SSBB in my time, and I must say that ,without a doubt, I prefer fighting Humans. Not just because you feel more rewarded when you beat them as you have proven that your skills are greater than theirs, but also because I find them more believable. Humans can make mistakes and they can also fall into rhythmic patterns of predictability in where you can expose their weaknesses and win through more strategic thinking. Cpu's on the other hand are almost perfect. Level 9's frustrate me a lot. They seem to be able to do things which no human player can actually do. For one, I've seen them shield and then un-shield faster than any human could press a button, but the most frustrating thing I find is that they have this tendency to do super fast grab attacks, often while I am executing my own moves. Grabs are very useful in a fight as they are quick and do a fair bit of damage.

I  use the gamecube controller where the grab button is positioned very awkwardly. Can you see the "Z" button? If you can, then you will probably notice that it's not easy for me to grab, seeing as I also keep my finger on the shield/dodge button as well. Yes, I can beat level 9's. Yes, I beat them a lot, but I actually believe that fighting humans is easier. I like to find out what tactic's they rely on and expose their weaknesses and strengths. I'm not used to losing to people in SSBB (I'm not trying to boast, and I admit that I have been beaten many times over the years) I just find playing against human's more fun.

Legend of zelda: the phantoms

If you are considering playing Legend of zelda phantom Hourglass/ Spirit tracks, it would be a good idea to be familiar with the most dangerous enemies in the game, Phantoms.

first off, the phantoms of phantom hourglass.

blue(normal) phantoms: the most basic form of phantom in this game, this phantom carries a sword and sheild. it moves relatively slowly and really is nothing to be afraid of, unless you have no where to run.

Red(Speed) phantoms: these phantoms move relatively quickly, these phantoms are best when they are either stunned or defeated.

Gold(teleport) phantoms: the final type of phantom in the game, these phantoms carry axes and can warp to phantom eyes and other phantoms. kill them ASAP.

and now the spirit tracks phantoms:

Normal phantoms: exactly the same as a blue phantom, a reliable ally when they are taken over

Torch phantoms: a phantom that carries a flaming sword to light up dark areas

Warp Phantoms: these phantoms can warp directly to phantom eyes. remember that when you are controlling them

Wrecker phantoms; these phantoms move around as a boulder. nuff said
